Bio Sketch

Patricia Prime is the co-editor of Kokako, reviews/interviews editor of Haibun Today and writes reviews for Takahe and for several Indian journals. She recently completed an interview on the history of Kokako to be published in Takahe and an interview with an Indian editor who is also considering a collection of her poems for publication

  1. This sentence-fragment tanka flows smoothly from L1 to L5, effectively creating a distinctive atmosphere/mood that surrounds the narrator and this second-hand bookshop.

    Patricia's fine tanka reminds me of my poem below dealing with a similar topic:

    snow light ...
    a worn page
    of Neruda
    for the winter
    in my heart
