Bio Sketch

Agus Maulana Sunjaya is a physics and mathematics teacher. He resides in Tangerang, westward to the capital of Indonesia. His works have been published in many online/print journals and have won several awards in international haiku contests. Gardening and practicing Aikido are his ways to spend leisure days.

  1. Unexpected yet themtatically significant and visually evocative L3 makes this "child with nature" haiku emotionally powerful.

    What's left unsaid (about these ten little fingers, L2, moving in swirling leaves, L1) effectively conveys a sense of "awe and wonder."

    And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparative reading of the following haiku:

    from star to star
