Bio Sketch

Tuyet Van Do lives in Melbourne, Australia.  Her work has appeared in Pure Haiku, Time Haiku, Presence, Cattails, Under The Basho, Haiku Dialogue, haikuniverse, Poetry Pea, Take 5ive, The Bamboo Hut, Poetry Super Highway, Synchronized Chaos and others. She was nominated for the Touchstone Awards for Individual Poems 2022.

  1. Ls 1&2 work well as the theme-setting scene while unexpected yet auditorily evocative L3 enhances the emotionally suggestive power of the haiku.

    And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparison reading of my haiku below:

    light of dawn
    a tai chi master
    pushes the silence
