Bio Sketch
Ken
Sawitri was born in Blora, Central Java, Indonesia, and completed her
degree in psychology at the University of Indonesia. She was the
Psychology & Education editor of Ayahbunda (1995-1998). She had the first publication in Indonesian national media when she was in junior high school.
Ken's visually riveting and symbolically rich haiku is a "re-vision{" of the opening line of "Auguries of Innocence" by William Blake:
