Bio Sketch
Caroline Skanne, Rochester, UK is obsessed with anything wild and free. She is the founder of hedgerow: a journal of small poems. Her book ‘a hundred poems by caroline skanne’ is available from amazon.
L1 establishes the seasonal and tonal context while combined with the symbolically rich image of a singing robin, a shift in mood in Ls 2&3 lifts the poem up a notch.
ReplyDeleteNote: Robins, especially the male ones, sing beautifully on summer nights. They signify stimulation of new growth and renewal in many areas of life.
