Bio Sketch
Arvinder Kaur, an author, translator and poet, has retired as Principal of Govt College Mohali, India.She has served as an Associate Professor in English Literature and Media Studies in PGGCG -11,Chandigarh,India and other Govt Colleges for nearly 35 years. Her published work includes two books of haiku, Nimolian ( Punjabi Haiku ) and dandelion seeds, and one book of translation Amrita and Imroz (In the Times of Love and Longing). Her haiku have been published in various international journals. She lives in Chandigarh, India with her family.
L1 sets the theme for the poem while the visually and emotionally evocative image in Ls 2&3 brings a glimpse of hope that is potentially embedded in L1.
