Bio Sketch

Geethanjali Rajan teaches Japanese and English in the city of Chennai, India. She writes prose, opinion pieces, haiku, tanka, haibun and other forms of poetry. Her writing can be found in various international journals online and some, in print. She is currently the editor of haiku at Cattails (UHTS).

  1. L1 sets the scene while the unexpected yet visually powerful last line makes an effective shift, thematic and emotional, lifting the haiku out of the ordinary.
