Bio Sketch

Arvinder Kaur, an author, translator and poet, has retired as Principal of Govt College Mohali, India.She has served as an Associate Professor in English Literature and Media Studies in PGGCG -11,Chandigarh,India and other Govt Colleges for nearly 35 years. Her published work includes two books of haiku, Nimolian ( Punjabi Haiku ) and  dandelion seeds, and one book of translation Amrita and Imroz (In the Times of Love and Longing). Her haiku have been published in various international journals. She lives in Chandigarh, India with her family.

  1. This juxtaposition of "origami skiff" and a "piece of my childhood" is thematically relatable and emotionally effective, and the phrasal verb in L3 adds emotional weight to the haiku.
