Geethanjali
Rajan teaches Japanese and English in the city of Chennai, India. She
writes prose, opinion pieces, haiku, tanka, haibun and other forms of
poetry. Her writing can be found in various international journals
online and some, in print. She is currently the editor of haiku at
Cattails (UHTS).
A spiritual experience deeply felt by a "queue of pilgrims" at this ritualistic moment (the "same prayer on every lip") is realistically and movingly depicted in Geethanjali Rajan's haiku.
