Madhuri Pillai lives in Melbourne, she enjoys writing haiku, tanka and cherita. Her work has been published in various journals. Madhuri is also very interested in animal welfare issues.
The emotionally poignant jux. of the monotonous sound of a ticking clock (L1) and the counsellor playing his ring (Ls 2&3) effectively depicts the failure of a therapy session (and this marriage counsellor).
