  1. Enhanced by the effective use of syntactic parallelism, the surprise ending, "summer rain," following its preceding dialectical statements, "not in silence" and "not with noise," shows (not tells) the speaker's state of mood.

    And it might be interesting to do a comparative reading of my haiku below:
