Bio Sketch
Marion Clarke is from the east coast of Northern Ireland. Growing up surrounded by the scenic shores of Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains and Kilbroney Forest Park, she was destined to write haiku.
Structurally speaking, Marion's heartfelt tanka functions as a "list poem" that is made up of "laughter, stories of you,/a gift of pencils/and an enamel charm," and or , 'this bouquet of spring flowers," which is layered with multiple meanings.
