Bio Sketch
Elmedin Kadric was born in Novi Pazar, Serbia, but writes out of Helsingborg, Sweden. His first collection, buying time (2017), was published by Red Moon Press.
L1 shows a late autumn or winter day while unexpected yet thematically and visually poignant L3 makes this seaonal haiku timely, emotionally powerful, and symobically rich. On a second reading, L1 works well a foreshadowing of the incoming "long, dark night" (if nothing has changed).
