My Dear Readers:
I'm happy to share with you this exciting news: NeverEnding Story contributor Elmedin Kadric published a new book, rust, his third full-length collection of haiku. In his haiku, Kadric "celebrates the bittersweetness of contrasts, tensions, and paradoxes... He offers to accompany the reader along the path of life, often in necessary and companionable silence."
Elmedin Kadric is a minimalist haiku poet writing out of Helsingborg, Sweden. His first full-length collection, buying time, was awarded second place at the Haiku Society of America Merit Book Awards for excellence in haiku poetry. And his poetry has appeared in many prestigious journals and multiple volumes of the Red Moon Anthology.
Selected Haiku:
with the rust of one still together
holding off
holding on
wren song
fall leaves
they, too, settle
out of court
short day
this cold shell
of a bullet
living alone
telling one cry of a crow
from another
Happy Reading
Chen-ou
