  1. In this visually and emotionally impactful haiku about "daily life," there is an implied/a subtle contrast between the "90-year-old" fishman's two struggles (with both life and a fighting trout) and the trout's "life and death" struggle

    This deceptively simple haiku reminds me of the following remarks about "struggles in life:"

    It's a struggle, life. Everyone is struggling with something.
