Bio Sketch

Srinivasa Rao Sambangi, a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma, is currently working in a pharma company in Hyderabad, India. His haiku are regularly published in all the leading haiku journals

  1. The twist/surprise ending, L3, makes this haiku visually and emotionally effective. And the thematic significance of the "stars," the symbol of a so far away and yet so close dream of being an astrologist or even an astronaut (as implied by the setting of L1), adds one more layer of meaning to the haiku.

    And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparison reading of my haiku below:
