  1. Ls 1&2 set the scene and mood while multisensorily evocative and symbolically rich Ls 3-5 remind me of the following popular sayings about "silence in a relationship:"

    Silence is the echo of understanding.

    And in the hush, we find the heartbeat of love.

    It might be interesting to do a thematic comparison reading of my tanka below:
