Bio Sketch

Angelee Deodhar of Chandigarh (India) was an eye surgeon by profession as well as a haiku poet, translator, and artist. Her haiku/haiga has been published internationally. She didn't have her own website.To promote haiku in India, she has translated six books of haiku from English to Hindi.

  1. The imagery is moving from sound/L1 → movement/L2 → visual surface/L3. The layered sensory progression is engaging.

    And the jump/shift from the ringing/L1 to the dancing shadows on the wall/Ls 2&3 feels natural, and the word “tintinnabulation” acts like musical accompaniment to the puppet show.
