To the Lighthouse: Smols , A Haiku Inspired Form

The word smol is an internet slang term derived from small, used affectionately to describe something or someone that is tiny, fragile, and exceptionally adorable. Smols, a haiku-inspired genre created by NeverEnding Story contributor Roberta Beach Jacobson, are ultra-short poems—no more than five words—built on effective juxtaposition.
