L1, "moonglow," is an understated opening that immediately establishes atmosphere while allowing the reader to enter the haiku without emotional prompting.
ReplyDeleteThe image of jellyfish and stars in Ls 2&3 is strikingly surreal, and the phrase "ocean of sky" subtly reverses the expected relationship between sea and sky. The resulting perceptual shift unfolds naturally, giving the haiku a quiet sense of wonder.
