Bio Sketch
    
Brendon Kent lived in Botley, an old countryside village in Southern England (circa 890 A.D.) Born in the late 50's he had written poetry for many years preferring the "short forms." Brendon's haiku/senryu were published worldwide in many leading books and journals. He was a member of the British Haiku Society.

  1. L1 depicts an artistic scene/work while Ls 2&3 with a multi-sensorily striking verbal phrase, "breaks/the snow's silence," deepen the theme/silence explored in the haiku.

    And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparison reading of the following haiku:

    winter solitude
    in a world of one colour
    the sound of the wind
