Bio Sketch

Renée Owen’s first full-length collection, Alone on a Wild Coast, won a Snapshot Press Book Award and a Honourable Mention in the Haiku Foundation's 2014 Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards.  A psychotherapist and mixed-media artist, Renée enjoys performing her poetry for live audiences with her musician husband, Brian Foster

    “sand dunes” reminds us that our journey into consciousness is often preceded by a time of shifting awareness as we sleep. As the physical world takes shape, so do our desires and intentions. Abstractions become tangible and provide landmarks upon which we often stake our future hopes and dreams.
