Bio Sketch
Larry Kimmel lives quietly in the hills of western Massachusetts. His most recent books are shards and dust (cherita), outer edges (tanka) and thunder and apple blossoms (haiku).
The contemplative mood of Larry's lyric tanka is effectively conveyed through visually and emotionally evocative imagery, and the use of "again" in L3 enhances the emotional aspect of the tanka.
ReplyDeleteLarry's beautifully crafted tanka reminds me of some of iconic scenes from an American classic, "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek," written by Annie Dillard.
