Unexpected yet visually evocative L3 makes this (seemingly) idyllic/pastoral scene depicted in Ls 1&2 emotionally effective, layered with multiple meanings, one of which is that Nature (L3 where a synecdoche is employed ) retakes a human-claimed place (L2, old farmhouse).
